DARF’s Cold Pressed Light Dog Food is a high-quality, minimally processed, dry food for dogs. 3.2kgs of fresh, raw meat is processed for each kilogram of this food.

It retains more nutrients than most standard dry kibble, so it will help promote your dog’s wellness and give them all the essential nutrients and minerals they need.

What is cold-pressed dog food?

Cold-pressed dog food differs from traditional dry dog food because of how the ingredients are processed. The ingredients in conventional dog food are extruded at high temperatures (around 120 degrees). Consequently, many nutrients are damaged or destroyed and don’t reach your dog’s bowl.

In contrast, when food is Cold Pressed, the raw ingredients are processed gently and at much lower temperatures (around 80 degrees). As a result, the food retains more essential nutrients to support your dog’s health.

Another plus for cold-pressed food is that it doesn’t expand in the dog’s stomach like dry extruded food does – it simply dissolves when it enters the stomach. Because of this, cold-pressed food is much less likely to cause bloat.

Great stuff!

Recently bought Holistic Hound Calm and Balmy for my 13yo old as she's very confused during evening & night. Think it's called sundowning.
