The Slippery Elm has been a game-change for my dog who developed reflux after being neutered. The omeprazole medication from vets worked fine in the short-term but made him lethargic so this is a great alternative. No side-effects. I sprinkle on top of his food in the morning, and make it into a lick paste with some kefir and banana for an evening "dessert" before sleep. It has stopped the gulpies episodes,and lessened his reflux.

Great to have it at home if he gets an upset stomach or prevent him to get it.

Seems to have helped stools and consistency. Trying as dog is on restricted diet and suffering with inflammation on skin. Will definitely keep adding to food

I had a good experience with the store, unfortunately my 16 Yr old dog had to be put to sleep, so I never got to try the product. I wish I knew about this product yrs ago because he was terrible for sneaking the cat food

My boxer suffers with chronic reflux which causes her to hack, cough and chug water which then causes her to vomit. Prescription antacids helped to a point but didn't offer a long term solution, and they can also cause nausea as a side effect. Since giving her slippery elm before her meals, I estimate her hacking episodes to have reduced by 80-90%.
At first I sprinkled it directly on to her food which did help, but now I put a teaspoon of it into a small bowl, add a small amount of water to make a paste, then pour over a splash of cream (one of her favourite things) on top to disguise it. She laps that up about 30 mins before eating twice a day and it works wonderfully. Highly recommended for reflux sufferers!
