This food is a single protein dog food making it great for elimination diets! Duck is considered a novel protein for most dogs meaning they are less likely to have intolerance issues.

The mince is a chunky texture, suitable for small, medium and large breed dogs. When you choose to feed a chunky style mince you can see what the food consists of, nothing hidden. A lot of dogs prefer the chunky consistency of Raw Necessity over other brands.

Nutritional Analysis

Feeding Guidelines

For active dogs, it’s recommended that you feed 3% of their adult body weight.

With moderately active dogs, it’s recommended that you feed 2.5% of their adult body weight.

And for sedentary dogs that are neutered, senior dogs, and dog breeds that are prone to weight gain, it’s recommended that you feed 2% of their adult body weight.

Always remember that when your dog is neutered their metabolism slows significantly, therefore it’s important to take this into account when reading feeding guidelines.

Our raw food must be thawed prior to pet consumption. Simply place the thawed raw food in your pets feeding bowl – Add supplements as needed.

The feeding guidelines provided are generalised. Monitor your pets body condition to determine if more or less raw food is required.

Maintenance percentages need to be increased/decreased depending on activity level and metabolism.

She absolutely gobbles it up, and she seems very healthy on it! Shiny coat and small poops. I like the compostable packaging, but warning that the bloody juice can soak through the boxes. It might be a good idea to transfer it into a plastic container in the fridge. Cleaning chicken goo out of your fridge is a challenging experience!!
