Another nice treat option from DARF

We feed raw, but go through quite a lot of treats in the course of any given day with all the training going on. DARF cold pressed food is perfect for this! It even comes in several different "flavours", giving even more variety and a treat/snack that is very compatible with their main raw meals. Breaks up nicely for treat-dispensing toys and handy for when we're on the road too!

Moved to Darf turkey

I moved my Bernese to Darf cold press from a kibble that she was refusing to eat She has a sensitive stomach but it was a very easy transition. She ate it from the first feed and no problems.

What is cold-pressed dog food?

Cold pressed dog food differs from traditional dry dog food because of how the ingredients are processed. The ingredients in conventional dog food are extruded at high temperatures (around 120 degrees) and as a consequence, many nutrients are damaged or destroyed and don’t make it to your dog’s bowl.

In contrast, when food is Cold Pressed, the raw ingredients are processed gently and at much lower temperatures (around 80 degrees). As a result, the food retains more essential nutrients to support your dog’s health.

Another plus for cold pressed food is that it doesn’t expand in the dog’s stomach in the way that dry extruded food does – it simply dissolves when it enters the stomach. Because of this, cold pressed food is much less likely to cause bloat.
