We understand that knowing how much raw food to feed your dog can seem complicated. Especially when you need to start taking into consideration their size, life stage, activity levels, and metabolism.
Thankfully, it doesn’t need to be complicated! We’ve created this handy raw food guide for dogs to help you get a better understanding of how much they need.
- For highly active dogs, it’s recommended that you feed 3% of their adult body weight.
- With moderately active dogs, it’s recommended that you feed 2.5% of their adult body weight.
- And for sedentary dogs that are neutered, senior dogs, and dog breeds that are prone to weight gain, it’s recommended that you feed 2% of their adult body weight.
- Always remember that when your dog is neutered their metabolism slows significantly, therefore it’s important to take this into account when reading feeding guidelines.
Now that you’ve read the raw food guide and have a better idea of how much your dog needs, you can check out the raw food we stock here, and find something that suits your dog.
