High Meat Content
Kudo is one of the highest meat content cold-pressed dog foods we’ve ever stocked. While the recipes list around 34% dehydrated meat, this actually gives a more honest reflection of how much meat ends up in your dog’s bowl. Keep reading to find out more...

Water Weight
Kudo starts with fresh meat, which naturally contains around 70% moisture. That moisture is gently removed before the meat is blended with the other ingredients. What remains is simply the same meat, just without the water, meaning the percentage shown on the label reflects the true amount of meat in the finished food.

Cold Pressed Digestion
Cold-pressed dog food is made differently from traditional dry dog food. Most kibble is produced using high-temperature extrusion, where ingredients are cooked at very high heat before being shaped into pellets.
Cold-pressed food is made at much lower temperatures, where the ingredients are gently pressed together instead. This gentler process helps maintain the natural qualities of the ingredients and produces a food that breaks down more easily during digestion.
Another benefit of cold-pressed food is that it does not swell in the stomach in the same way many traditional kibbles can, making it a suitable option for dogs who may be prone to digestive discomfort or bloat.
