Antlers for dogs are a chew made are from Red Deer and Fallow deer, much of which is from Scottish highland herds, and have simply been cleaned(with no chemicals) and cut to various sizes/weights for dogs to chew on. Sharp points have been removed to make them safe.
Antler dog chews are a healthy treat, full of minerals and calcium. They are long lasting, and as they are unprocessed, they should not splinter either. The chews satisfy a dog’s natural urge to chew, whilst also helping to strengthen and clean teeth.
Being a naturally grown chew, no two antlers are the same. Some are a harder dark brown color whilst others are a softer greyish/white. They also come in various shapes and sizes, keeping your dog interested for longer.
Why not pop the Antler Dog Chew in a Meaty Stock over night, allow it to soak into the pours of the Antler to make it even tastier for your dog.
As with any chew, always supervise your dog. Makes sure your dog is gnawing and not bearing down hard. Discard any remaining small pieces. Do not leave the chew outside in the elements.
Our dogs were on Ydolo and Alpha Spirit cold pressed but were recently informed that they were no longer being stocked. Cobbydog was the suggested replacement and we’ve had great success so far - thanks team!
I bought this because my bichon mix had itchy feet, I heard this can be from a poultry allergy. Since she is having this and other less processed foods her feet seem to be not annoying her.
Good quality ingredients. I do have to add something liquid because my dogs prefer more moist food
