  1. Familiarize Your Pet: Before using the grinder, let your pet sniff and inspect it while it's turned off. This helps them get comfortable with the new tool.
  2. Introduce the Sound: Turn on the grinder and let your pet hear the sound without touching their nails. Offer treats and praise to create a positive association.
  3. Start Slowly: Begin with the lowest speed setting. Gently touch the grinder to one of your pet’s nails for just a second. Reward them immediately after.
  4. Gradual Grinding: Gradually increase the duration of each grinding session, doing one nail at a time. Ensure you avoid the quick (the sensitive part inside the nail) by grinding only the tip.
  5. Take Breaks: If your pet seems anxious, take breaks and try again later. Patience is key to keeping your pet calm.
  6. Finish with Rewards: After the session, reward your pet with treats, playtime, or affection to reinforce the positive experience.
