I've been giving this to my young dog for the past two weeks. It's too early to see if it changes/makes a difference in him. He doesn't like the taste even thou I started off with a tiny tiny amount. I have to hide it in food. It's a natural product so at least I know nothing bad is going into him

I use this for my 3 dogs one of which is a senior dog of 11 years old with Artritis. Green Lipped Mussel is fantastic for joint health and is a great supplement to prevent and manage arthritis. Firstly, green lipped mussels are loaded with Omega Fatty Acids including DHA and EPA. These fatty acids are known to reduce inflammation which can lessen joint-related pain and stiffness. Secondly, these mussels are rich in glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), including Chondroitin Sulfate, which is beneficial to the cartilage that cushions the joints.

AniForte gently freeze-dried the Green Lipped Mussel powder to maintain the high nutritional value of the ingredients.

Crude protein 66.0%, Crude fiber < 0.5%, Crude ash 6.9%, Crude fat 8.0%

Feeding Guidelines

Dogs (per 10 kg): 0.5 g daily

Cats: 0.5 g daily

(Scoop included in the tub. 1 scoop holds 2 grams of powder).

If needed, the recommended amount can be increased to double. To acclimatize, start with 50% of the daily dose for 3 - 5 days. The powder can be easily mixed with your pets food.
