Probiotic Allergen Free Pet Spray | Provilan Lucca+ 300ml

Itchy, irritated skin is one of the most common complaints from pet owners. Not only is it horrible for our pets, but it's difficult for us to watch them in such discomfort with itchy, flaky skin, excessive scratching and hot spots.

The natural Probiotic Allergen Free Pet Spray from Provilan has been designed to soothe and relieve the unpleasant symptoms of environmental and seasonal allergies. Lucca+ acts as a preventative spray. By using good bacteria (probiotics), the various allergenic substances are eliminated from the skin.

The probiotics also work to naturally restore balance to the skin and home microbiome, which is crucial to the overall well-being of the skin – for humans and animals. Skin biome balance helps to maintain a resilient skin barrier. It also helps to regulate Ph, improve skin hydration and support collagen production, cell turnover and healing.

Note: If your pet has areas of broken skin or hot spots, we recommend LUCAA+ Pet Probiotic Dermo Care. This spray has a higher concentration of probiotics to support healthy wound healing.

Instructions

To use our Pet Skin Allergen Care, ensure your pet is as clean as possible for best results. Shake before use. Spray LUCAA+ Allergen-Free directly onto the coat and brush through gently to ensure an even application.

Depending on the severity and the size of the animal – apply twice daily for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce as required. It is beneficial to spray on any exposed skin areas – and to spray the animal’s living and sleeping environment, including bedding and collars.  Suitable for use indoors and outdoors.

IMPORTANT: Always consult a vet if in doubt or if symptoms persist. Read our Open Letter to Vets for further information.

Veterinary Recommendation for Using LUCAA+ Pet Allergen-Free Spray: 

“Regarding application, I use your guidelines but would add that priority should go to contact and hairless areas of the dog’s body; so paws, tummy, groin, armpits and ears (hairless area often exposed to environmental allergens) and any skin folds that a specific patient may have e.g. around the vulva or on the face as with most brachycephalic breeds.

As a rule of thumb, we say two applications per day for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce to ‘as needed’.

How much to spray on each time is again dependent on the severity of the condition (and size of the dog). There is about 200 sprays from each 300ml bottle so there is no need for the owner to hold back (and no negative effect from the sprays).

So, 4-5 sprays on each side of a lab size animal would result in 2 applications per day for, say, 4 days (80 sprays); followed by 1 application per day for 4 days (40 sprays); leaving a third of the container left for ‘as required’ applications.” Dr. Richard Doyle, Wylie Vets, Brentwood.

The Kudo puppy and junior food is the first dry dog food that actually smells of real meat that i have found over years. I have a Great Dane puppy and wanted to give him the proper ratio of calc/phos. After searching the internet for hours for a good quality feed that is easily digestible by my pup who has a chicken allergy I have discovered Kudo. He loves it, and I am grateful to be giving him real meat with no fillers.

After using a brand with grain free bio dental sticks for years the product was discontinued. I checked with my vet who said what I thought all the years: most dental sticks are everything but not healthy and they do not do anything to clean your dog's teeth anyway - Unlike teeth cleaning and dental supplements such as offered by Fetch.

So after being a very happy customer with Fetch for years I checked out alternatives and came across these bangers available as chicken or beef.

What can I say - they are a huge success and Ruben our Golden Cocker loves them. I make the effort and cut them at an angle and he gets three slices in his kong. Since he's a pup he gets a 'wee afternoon treat' and he would never forget about it ;-)

I am sure most people are feeding them as a whole sausage but our boy is not very patient and tends to just ' inhale' them after two bites or so that's why I am cutting them up.

The smell is really okay as the label says and that is me cutting the content of a whole bag in one go to have them handy. They are much more hygienic than dried pigs ears or so and Ruben is so fond of them.

They are now firm part of my 'Fetch Order List' - Great service and products :-) Thank you.
