The Borvo Nutrients microalgae range are grown in Europe in closed systems. This ensures they are free from contaminants and are produced to a high standard, in terms of the nutrient profile. There are varying levels of quality when it comes to products like Spirulina because many of the products available on the market come from countries outside Europe where standards and regulations may not be of the same standard. This can mean that there is less control over the quality of the products, which also means they can be sold at cheaper prices. Borvo only ever uses the highest quality ingredients from approved European suppliers. They also use environmentally friendly glass jars, aluminium lids and paper labels. All of this means the price the products are sold at is higher than other products on the market but it is not a like for like comparison.
