What is cold-pressed dog food?

Cold pressed dog food differs from traditional dry dog food because of how the ingredients are processed. The ingredients in conventional dog food are extruded at high temperatures (around 120 degrees) and as a consequence, many nutrients are damaged or destroyed and don’t make it to your dog’s bowl.

In contrast, when food is Cold Pressed, the raw ingredients are processed gently and at much lower temperatures (around 80 degrees). As a result, the food retains more essential nutrients to support your dog’s health.

Another plus for cold pressed food is that it doesn’t expand in the dog’s stomach in the way that dry extruded food does – it simply dissolves when it enters the stomach. Because of this, cold pressed food is much less likely to cause bloat.

Really fast delivery as always, also some great help from Nikita (yet again!). Seems to meet the approval of the four legged kids so far, although as it’s a new food I’m still only at the phasing in process).

Fabulous finding this DARF Cold Pressed food for my allergy prone dogs. It is amazing food at a decent price, especially as I’m feeding 3 large dogs (120kg combined!)

Took ages to find the right biscuit for my doberman, she is fed these along with a mix of raw meat and supplements and she is in so much better condition. She loves the biscuit also not like other we’re she would leave half behind and go back later she eats all in the one go
